Natural dye Extracts beginners kit. 
This kit contains all you'll need to start experimenting with natural dye extracts - pre extracted natural dyes that are concentrated and soluble. Producing vibrant colours and easy to use, these extracts are so lovely to use!
This kit is enough to dye at least 1 kg of fibre/fabric. 
 
This kit includes:
Dye Extracts 10gm of each - used at 5-8% WOF (weight of fibre) 
Madder root extract - Pink/Red
Cutch bark extract - Brown 
Mulberry leaf extract - Moss green 
Marigold flower extract - Yellow/Olive green with Iron
Annatto seed extract - Orange
 
Mordants and Tannin
150gm Alum Acetate (for cellulose fibres)
or Potassium Alum Sulphate (for protein or cellulose fibres when used with a tannin. 
30gm Iron Sulphate
30gm Myrobalan tannin extract
The kit will also contain instructions on how to prepare, mordant and dye your fabric. 
You may choose to go with the 
 
Cellulose option
* 150gm Alum Acetate Mordant which is better for cellulose fibres such as Cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp, etc (fabric made form plants/cellulose)
or 
Cellulose and Protein Option (Wool/silk)
* 150gm Potassium Aluminium sulphate 
Or 
Mixed option 
*100 gm Alum Acetate
and 100gm Potasium Alum Sulphate
 
A great way to start your natural dye journey, a gift for a friend or to try out the dye extracts and compare. They can be mixed or you can over dye to create unique colours.
Fabric/fibre is not included in this kit.
