Natural dye starter kit
This kit contains all you'll need to start experimenting with natural dyes including dyes, mordants, accessories and an instruction booklet. 
This kit is enough to dye at least 2 kg of fibre/fabric. 
 
Includes natural dye powders: 
50gm Sappanwood - Pink/purple
50gm Walnut - Brown/black
50gm Pomegranate - yellow/green 
50gm Himalayan Rhubarb - Yellow
 
Extracts 
30gm Madder - Reds, orange
30gm Annatto - Bright Orange
30gm Cutch - Brown 
 
Mordants and Tannins
50gm Soda Ash 
50gm Iron Sulphate
50gm Gallnut tannin extract
50gm Myrobalan Powder
200gm Alum Acetate (for cellulose fibres) with 50gm Calcium Carbonate
or 250gm Alum Sulphate (for protein or cellulose fibres when used with a tannin.) 
 
The kit will also contain instruction cards on how to prepare, mordant and dye your fabric. 
 
You may choose to go with the 
 
Cellulose option 
* 200gm Alum Acetate Mordant which is better for cellulose fibres such as Cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp, etc (fabric made form plants/cellulose)

Cellulose and Protein Option (Wool/silk)
* 250gm Aluminium sulphate 
 
Or Mixed option 
*100 gm Alum Acetate
and 150gm Alum Sulphate
 
These quantities are enough to mordant 2kg fabric/fibre.
