Natural dye starter kit
This kit contains all you'll need to start experimenting with natural dyes including dyes, mordants, accessories and an instruction booklet. 
This kit is enough to dye at least 1 kg of fibre/fabric. 
 
Includes 7 natural dye powders (50g of each) : 
Madder - Reds, orange
Lac - Red, pink, purple
Pomegranate - yellow/green 
Annatto - Orange
Walnut - Brown/black
Henna - Brown/Green
Sappanwood - Pink/purple
 
Mordants and Tannins
30gm Soda Ash 
30gm Iron Sulphate
30gm Gallnut tannin extract
100gm Alum Acetate (for cellulose fibres) and 50gm Wheat Bran
or Potassium Alum Sulphate (for protein or cellulose fibres when used with a tannin.) 
 
The kit will also contain instruction cards on how to prepare, mordant and dye your fabric.

Cellulose option
* 100gm Alum Acetate Mordant which is better for cellulose fibres such as Cotton, linen, bamboo, hemp, etc (fabric made form plants/cellulose)

Cellulose and Protein Option (Wool/silk)
* 150gm Potassium Aluminium sulphate 
 
Or Mixed option 
*100 gm Alum Acetate
and 100gm Potasium Alum Sulphate
 
These quantities are enough to mordant 1kg fabric/fibre.
