Himalayan Rhubarb is a vibrant, plant-based dye made from the dried roots of the Rheum emodi plant, sustainably harvested in the Himalayan region. Naturally high in anthraquinones, it produces brilliant clear yellows, warm golden tones, and, when combined with iron or indigo, beautiful soft greens and olive shades. Renowned in traditional Asian dyeing practices, it’s a versatile, lightfast dye for both cellulose and protein fibers.
